TAMILNADU APEX SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE FOR AUTOMOBILE
We are seeking a versatile and motivated engineer to work across multiple domains including Body in White (BIW), Seating Systems, Exterior Components, and Design Verification & Analysis (DVA). The role involves design, integration, and validation of components with a focus on performance, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics Engineering
2–5 years of experience in automotive product development (can be tailored for fresher level)
Strong knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA V5/NX), GD&T, and vehicle architecture
Familiarity with DFMEA, design validation, and APQP process
Good understanding of plastics, sheet metal, foams, and composite materials
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSA, HyperMesh, LS-DYNA) is a plus
Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination
Hands-on experience with vehicle build, testing, and issue resolution
