Job Description

  • Set and track business development (BD) and sales goals in alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify training needs, mentor, and coach the BD team to enhance performance and skills.
  • Develop effective marketing messages and strategies to differentiate from competitors.
  • Ensure the team is well-trained and knowledgeable about new products and services.
  • Regularly report on team performance metrics and progress towards goals.
  • Lead product demonstrations and guide accounts through the sales process stages.
  • Identify opportunities through partner channels and manage relationships effectively.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create region-specific campaigns and initiatives.
  • Generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize sales from existing customers.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
  • Work closely with CRM teams and data vendors to optimize data management and lead generation processes.
  • Improve sales conversion rates through strategic initiatives and process improvements.
  • Develop innovative strategies such as gamification, automation, and targeted training programs.
  • Organize and promote roadshows, customer events, and other marketing activities to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Identify partners for Mobilization of candidates for various training programs.

 

Job Requirement

  • Proven track record with 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and achieving business development and sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and develop effective business strategies.
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in sales analytics.
  • Willingness to travel as required within India and potentially internationally.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach to business development.
