Designer Role ( CAD/ CAM/ Solid Works/ Manufacturing Design )

Job Description

The Designer (CAD/CAM/SolidWorks/Manufacturing Design) is responsible for creating and modifying 2D and 3D models for manufacturing processes, ensuring that designs meet technical requirements, quality standards, and production feasibility. The role involves working with engineering teams, understanding client requirements, and optimizing designs for cost-effective manufacturing.

Job Requirement

Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Design, or related field.
Experience: 1–5 years of experience in CAD/CAM design for manufacturing.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo for 3D modeling and drafting.
Knowledge of CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX, or similar) for CNC programming.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes like sheet metal fabrication, machining, and injection molding.
Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering drawings.
