Job Summary: Vehicle Maintenance Technician in Sapporo, Japan

Salary:

• Monthly Salary: ¥200,000
• Overtime: Paid at 125% for hours exceeding legal working hours.
• Bonus: Paid twice a year (average 2.5 months’ salary in 2023), pro-rated based on join

date and performance.

• Salary Increments: Annually in October, based on performance.

Probation Period: 3 months

Location: Sapporo City, Hokkaido Prefecture (known for winter festivals and natural beauty)

Job Responsibilities:

Car/Automobile Maintenance:

• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of vehicle systems (engines, brakes,

electrical, etc.).

• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements).
• Conduct repairs on cooling, fuel, and air conditioning systems.
• Safety inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.

Customer Support/Sales & Marketing:

• Communicate with customers to explain diagnostics, repairs, and costs.
• Assist with sales and marketing activities.
• Maintain accurate repair/service records.
